Treatment Description

The splint or a muscle deprogrammer was fabricated and given to the patient. The wax up or mock-up was created and transferred in patients mouth by using provisional temporization method to check for various functionality including biting, aesthetics, phonetics etc. The vertical dimension was adjusted and raised using a semi-adjustable articulator and face-bow record was made. Centric record was determined using bimanual manipulation along with anterior deprogramming device. After the patient was comfortable and happy with the new bite and new smile, the final impressions were made. HOBO technique was performed and multiple trials were done to evaluate all the parameters. Crowns were cemented with a temporary cement to gain experience and comfort with the new set of crowns, followed by final cementation.
